How to Play Hilda in MLBB: The Hero’s Strengths and Roaming Tactics

Hilda – roamer, tank, initiator, regeneration.

My number one Roam hero.

Hilda can:

  1. Tank damage
  2. Heal in bushes
  3. Gain movement speed and receive a shield
  4. Appear unexpectedly
  5. Dive under turrets, get a kill, and escape
  6. Hide in the bushes between turrets to secure another kill
  7. Create chaos across the entire map

Early Game

At the beginning of the game, you can:

  • Help your jungler with their buff, then go and clear the first mid wave and join your mid laner for a gank on a side lane.
  • Go straight to the Gold Lane and hold the lane if your ADC is weaker or if the enemy team has an Angela, Belerick, etc. In other words, you need to stay in lane if there are two enemies on the Gold Lane.
  • The most exciting option, if you are playing around Epic rank or lower, is to invade the enemy jungle from level 1. If the jungler is alone, you can get a kill, wait for them to return, and get another kill. You can move back and forth between the two central turrets, staying closer to the first one, and get one turret hit from T1.

So, in this situation, what should you do if your own buff is not available? The enemy jungler will go for their other buff, so you need to get there slightly earlier or arrive when they start attacking the buff.

If the enemy team does not help their jungler, their start will be disrupted, making the game easier for your entire team.

Mid Game

  • Help your jungler and mid laner. You should play as a trio and work well together.
  • Push lanes and destroy turrets whenever possible.
  • You should destroy all outer turrets.
  • Always contest the Turtle and the Lord.

Late Game

  • Your most important task is to help your team.
  • Whenever possible, draw enemies toward yourself, creating pressure and buying time for your team.

Tips

  • When escaping from an enemy, run into a bush. When the enemy enters the bush, run past them and get behind them. They will not have time to react.
  • When escaping from an enemy, for example, Belerick, whose skill is very predictable, simply move sideways to dodge his vines. The same goes for someone like Alpha when he is preparing to use his ultimate – move to the side.
  • Whenever possible, avoid recalling to base. It takes too long. Instead, regenerate using your puddle, use a small heal, or wait in a bush. This saves a lot of time and allows you to keep making an impact and applying pressure.
  • Keep checking bushes so that an enemy Saber does not jump out and attack your squishy teammate.
  • You can use your ultimate immediately when the enemy is within range and finish them off with your second skill.
  • Whenever possible, leave the kills for your core heroes.
